Copyright notices

Revised on October 15, 2026

Squirter writes its own guides and does not knowingly publish anyone else's work without permission. If you hold the rights to a text, photo or other work and think it appears on squirter.org without authorisation, email [email protected] and include:

  1. the link to the page on squirter.org where the material appears,
  2. a description of your original work or a link to where it is published,
  3. your full name and an email address where we can reach you,
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law,
  5. a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you own the rights or are allowed to act for the owner,
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

When a complete notice arrives we take the material down, normally within two business days, and tell whoever supplied it. If you supplied the material and believe the removal was a mistake, you can send a counter notice to the same address explaining why. Notices that are knowingly false may expose the sender to liability.

Creators who simply want their directory entry changed or removed do not need a copyright notice. A short email to the same address is enough.
