Squirter is free to read. To pay for writing and research, we earn money in two ways, and we want you to know exactly how each one works.

Partner links

Some links in our product rankings and guides lead to shops that pay us a commission if you buy something after clicking. These links carry a visible partner label. The price you pay at the shop is the same whether you use our link or not.

Paid placements

Brands can buy Brand Featured or Brand Partner, and creators can buy Creator Spotlight. Every paid placement is labelled so it can never be mistaken for our editorial choice.

How rankings stay independent

Products are ranked by criteria we publish with each ranking, such as material safety, ease of cleaning, build quality and what readers report back. A product earns its position on those criteria alone. Having a partner deal, or paying for a placement, does not move a product up, and products with no commercial link to us are ranked in the same list by the same rules. When a better product appears, it replaces the old one even if that costs us a commission.
